Wikipedia - Read the articles on various topics that come up or that you don’t know. Those serve as a good source of information and often contain links that can lead to further knowledge exploration.

Quizlet - Free online tool that you can use to make flashcards to teach yourself basic information. Quite helpful in learning work/creator or term/significance.

QuizDB - Online question database with search engine and filters. Use this to find questions with different difficulty levels and topics. This will help you study common clues and harder aspects of certain topics. Clues are often “reused” in quiz bowl and this can help with that.

Protobowl - This is a web application that reads questions to you in a multiplayer format. This is good if you want to practice against other people. You can also create your own private question room. However, be warned that know it alls and cheaters play too since the rooms are open to anyone.

Stanford Culture Guide - Good study guides with basic and advanced info across a wide variety of subjects.

Quiz Bowl Packet Archive - Archive of quiz bowl packets on differing levels. Great for reading and studying, especially if tournaments are coming up and previous years’ versions of those packets exist.

Hsquizbowl - Large quiz bowl site with info on upcoming tournaments, as well as a forum that can give you study tips, etc.

NAQT You Gotta Know - Brief summaries of the top ten topics in a variety of specific categories. Written by NAQT, who writes many of the tournaments we attend, this is an invaluable resource to gain information. However, this is not an in-depth source, so it will not suffice as your only study material.
